You called me names, you kicked my knee, you stole my ring pop, and you made me late for my comic book pick-up. But you did not get rid of me, Geek Wednesday is still alive and kicking. I have not written anything of use is quite awhile, some people would say I have never wrote anything of use. To those ’some’ people I say na-na na-na boo boo. Now on with the show.
Last week during Valentine’s Day I was in a little place called Alma, Georgia. I was there for business purposes and I was hundreds of miles away from my loved ones and my special Valentine. I survived this harrowing ordeal only because I was in a county that worshiped the next best thing to being with my sweetheart on Valentines…………………..BACON!!!!!!! That’s right folks, I was in Bacon County. As far as the eye can see there was Bacon this and Bacon that. To bad I was too soon to see the Bacon trees in bloom or to see the wondrous Bacon Festival. Ohhh to see the Bacon Queen in her crown of Bacon would have been a sight to behold. They had a theatre dedicated to all things bacon. All they showed their was bacon documentaries, bacon commercials, and Kevin Bacon movies.
They have a Library dedicated to the study and knowledge of the meat we call Bacon. This is a place where the future Baconologists of our generation and future generations come to learn about Bacon: Bacon farming, Bacon tree grooming, Kevin Bacon.
A town and county dedicated to Bacon is in constant threat from the Bacon haters (yeah right, like there are people who hate Bacon), they need to be protected from the threat of evil. That is where the Bacon Air Command comes into play. If anything ever threatens our Bacon way of life the Bacon Air Command defends our porkly honor, with Bacon missles that cause Bacon Explosions (MMMMmmmmMMMMM Bacon Explosion).
In conclusion…….Bacon is good. And have a wonderful Geek Wednesday Everybody.
